What We Do
At Bay Area Nature Play, we provide outdoor learning experiences for children 18 months - 8 years old using expertly designed Tinkergarten curriculum. Currently all classes are 1 hour long parent and child classes, where explorers come to class with their favorite grown ups.
*All classes include an optional extra 30 minutes to have snack and connect with other families after class.*

Hello! I am Teacher Shelly. Here's a little info about me: Before my two daughters were born I was a public school teacher. I am credentialed in California as an education specialist and a multiple subject teacher. I love being a teacher, but I especially love teaching outdoors and helping young children develop important skills while instilling in them a LOVE of nature and care for the environment. For the past 8 years I have taught outdoor parent-child classes through Tinkergarten. My new venture, Bay Area Nature Play, will continue to offer the same great outdoor classes using the same professionally designed Tinkergarten curriculum. I can't wait to play & learn outside with you!
